construction sector.

The Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment (AATSP) and the Priority Hiring Incentive (PHI) have been extended by six months, until 31 December 2025.
This extension provides stability for employers and cost-of-living relief for apprentices in priority occupations, while the Government continues to consult on longer-term reforms.
Employers who take on apprentices with disability will receive higher support payments, increasing from $104.30 to $216.07 per week.
Each year on 1 July, LAFHA rates will be adjusted in line with the March quarter Consumer Price Index (CPI) as published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
