From July 1, 2024, employers will have a choice to utilise a Generalist Provider or a Specialist Provider, if their apprentices meet the Specialist Services eligibility criteria.
Specialist Services can be offered to:
- Women in male-dominated trades
- First Nations Australian apprentices
- Australian Apprentices working towards clean energy occupations
In Western Australia, ASA has been awarded Generalist and Specialist Services (for all three cohorts) across the Perth and Surrounds, and Outback WA regions.
This means, no matter where you are, you can use a single provider and access the support services relevant to your needs.
