This program is aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous Australians with tertiary and trade qualifications to enhance employment outcomes, with a specific focus in the resources sector.
This program offers $500 scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in South Metropolitan TAFE courses to cover study costs.
Students undertaking on of the following qualifications may be eligible for the scholarship:
- UEE22020 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) (Electrotechnology Pre-Apprenticeship)
- MEM20105 Certificate II in Engineering (Heavy Fabrication Pre-Apprenticeship)
- MEM20105 Certificate II in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter and Machinist Pre-Apprenticeship)
- AUR20420 Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (Automotive Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship)
- AUR20520 Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology (Heavy Vehicle Servicing Pre-Apprenticeship)
