Are you paying your Apprentice or Trainee correctly?

recent report conducted by the Fair Work Ombudsman has revealed some businesses have been incorrectly paying their apprentices and trainees or have failed to comply with record-keeping and payslip requirements.

Apprentices and trainees must be paid for every hour they work and receive their lawful rate of pay.

The Fair Work Ombudsman has developed tools to assist both employers and workers to understand their rights and obligations.
