Free online training for ASA employer clients

Now a one-stop-shot for employers, Apprenticeship Support Australia WA’s (ASA) Access Portal offers a suite of free online training resources to assist with employing apprentices and trainees.

The Employer Learning Portal offers various training courses at introduction and refresher levels.

It covers myriad topics, including:

  • Employers’ training obligations
  • Apprentice/trainees’ training obligations
  • Relevant legislation considerations
  • What to do and where to go when things don’t go to plan
  • How to seek support from ASA

“Short courses provide supervisors, managers and business owners employing apprentices a cost-effective, efficient and targeted approach to acquiring essential skills and knowledge,” says ASA Manager Carly Waterfield.

“These courses provide immediate application in the workplace and continuous professional development opportunities, keeping them abreast of industry changes and compliance requirements, ultimately enhancing the support and mentorship provided to apprentices and improving overall organisational outcomes.”

All courses provide the ability to learn at your pace, with auto-save functionality so you can revisit courses when the time suits you or required. Participants also receive a certificate upon completion.

“All training investment ensures a skilled and productive workforce, fosters a culture of learning and development, and strengthens an organisation’s competitive position in the market.”
